2023 Kia Telluride Just over a month ago, Kia announced that Kia Telluride was getting several updates. While not a full redesign, the 2023 Kia Telluride will feature a few new tweaks. However, apart from these minor improvements, this Kia SUV will also undergo a redesign for the following model year.

For the 2023 model year, Kia hasn’t officially announced to the public that the Telluride will see some updates but we’re confident that this will happen shortly. For one, the 2023 Kia Telluride is sure to get a new Kia logo design. Plus the updated Kia SUV will have more standard equipment, such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen.

In addition, the 2023 Kia Telluride is expected to get a modified grille. The new design is said to feature some vertical elements in place of the mesh, although not every model will necessarily feature this change.

The 2023 Kia Telluride sets itself apart from the pack of three-row, mid-size crossovers with its good looks, unexpected luxury, and unmatched value. Of course, the biggest Kias also carry out their core mission perfectly to comfortably transport their families and cargo.

With its rugged exterior and rich-looking interior, the Telluride will never go out of style in Land Rover showrooms. chairs to sit at very affordable prices.

While this luxury car is not very exciting to drive and the 291 hp V6 is not very fuel-efficient, the ride is refined and the body roll is controlled.

Will haul even a 5,000-pound trailer with ease and the all-wheel-drive model will tackle rough terrain with ease. Telluride 2023 is simply the gold standard in its segment.

For 2023, Kia has given the Telluride a new logo look, with the company’s trademark badge prominent on the grille, rear doors, and slightly redesigned steering wheel cover.

The two lower versions of the SUV also get standard feature upgrades, including a 10.3-inch touchscreen (replacing the older 8.0-inch unit) and automatic temperature control. Additionally, both models now feature semi-autonomous adaptive cruise control. also uses a navigation system to actively regulate vehicle speed when entering and exiting corners.

2023 Kia Telluride Preview

The Kia Telluride is the top-ranked SUV in its market for the second year in a row, this three-row mid-size SUV can accommodate up to eight people and is the largest in the Kia lineup.

Some have praised the Telluride for its smooth ride, luxurious interior, and third-row which can comfortably accommodate adults, it is also equipped with many standard features and has the latest safety technologies.

For 2023 we expect to see some minor differences from the Telluride badge: Kia has redesigned its logo and the Telluride badge on the back features a different font and wider spacing.

All models are now equipped as standard with a 10.25-inch screen with automatic navigation and climate control.

There are plenty of capable midsize SUVs out there, and for those looking to do their due diligence, it’s worth taking the time to take a look at the Telluride competition. The Hyundai Palisade is probably your best bet. telluride.

You might also consider the Honda Pilot and Volkswagen Atlas, but in the end, the Telluride is our favorite. Read our expert review below to find out why.

  • A long list of standard features means excellent value
  • Spacious and comfortable interior for large families
  • The attractive style and high-quality interior materials

The Telluride is one of Kia’s hottest models in North America, where the SUV is selling for very decent numbers.

it was recently updated for the 2023 model year with more standard equipment, and there is evidence that a more complete overhaul is currently underway for the 2023 model year.

Now, a few months after his official debut, we have an idea. which is fantastic for its appearance.

Earlier this week we took a look at the Telluride 2023 test prototype in South Korea and it was used by our friends at Kolesa.ru as the basis for the rendering you see in the gallery below.

They drew what we thought was a pretty snappy picture of a new SUV showing off small but big changes to the rear and front.

Given Telluride’s good performance in the market, we didn’t expect this restyling to involve major cosmetic revisions, it looks like Kia will tweak the front fascia a bit by changing the graphics of the internal headlights, as well as the grille pattern to give it a more prominent shape.

Additionally, the LED headlights integrated into the current model’s bumper may disappear with a change.

At the rear, a test prototype earlier this month indicated that there would be minor changes to the taillights, and depending on the trim level, there could be other changes, although the camouflage doesn’t allow us to see much more at the rear. moment.

We hope to see a less camouflaged test car soon.

The Telluride is still a relatively new model on the market and with the update starting in June this year, we don’t expect to see the 2023 model until early next year.

Of course, the domestic model might appear before the end of 2023, but the American model won’t be coming so soon.

2023 Kia Telluride Redesign

Despite the many changes, overall it won’t be radically different.

Kia is one of our favorite automakers right now, and we’re not alone. The company is enjoying its best-selling year yet, and we expect that popularity to only increase if spy shots of the mid-engined sports car show what we expect is a new product offering from the Korean automaker.

While we’re on the subject of spy shots, we just stumbled upon the next video of the 2023 Kia Telluride parked under a bunch of camouflage canvases. Fortunately, there are still some details we can take from the imagery.

It’s set to be more of a facelift than a full refresh, but there are still plenty of chances. At the front, we see that the headlights will lose the round LED running lights accents which will be replaced by two oval accents per headlight cluster.

The redesigned 2021 model’s grille with the new Kia logo won’t change much, although it may be a bit slimmer. The lower grille is also unlikely to get a radical redesign, but we’ll have to wait for a more revealing image to the surface before we can make confident calls about that.

At the rear, the lower fog lamps and reverse cluster have also been revamped, and we expect the taillight cluster to be slightly overhauled as well. Inside, the dashboard is completely covered, but the upholstery looks lush and the three-row layout is retained.

With the Telluride recently undergoing a design overhaul, this refresh might seem a little unnecessary, but we’re not going to complain. We don’t expect any changes to the existing engine, but as is the norm today, we wouldn’t be surprised if we found a photo of the prototype wearing a warning sticker to show the hybrid powertrain being electrified. We’ll report back once we know more.

It was just over a month ago when Kia unveiled the Telluride 2023 with a swanky new company logo and slightly more standard equipment. For more significant changes, you will have to wait until the 2023 model year provided that a facelifted version will be introduced in the next 12 months. Meanwhile, a heavily camouflaged midsize SUV prototype has been captured up close and personal at home in South Korea.

Although the Telluride has only been out for a few years and is selling well, Kia is in a bit of a rush to deliver its biggest SUV sold in North America. The same goes for the mechanically related Hyundai Palisade, which will be updated in 2023 as well as the presentation made to investors.

The heavy cover might tempt you to believe Telluride is getting a complete makeover, but we’re inclined to believe it’s going to be a typical mid-cycle revision. After all, why mess with the winning recipe? Peeking through the mesh camo are redesigned headlights and taillights featuring fresh graphics while likely keeping the same cluster shape.

Kia has revamped the front grille for the 2023 model year and it looks like the so-called tiger nose is getting another new design, with vertical elements to replace the mesh-like setup of the current Telluride. However, these changes may be limited to certain trim levels and may not be adopted by all popular SUV variants. A slightly reshaped bumper should complement the changes on the outside.

The spy video also gives us a chance to peek inside the predominantly white cabin where everything except the dashboard is exposed. We’re not holding our breath for the big changes inside, especially since the Telluride 2023 already has a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen for infotainment as standard equipment.

Given that Kia revised the SUV back in June and this is only our first glimpse of the facelifted model, an official premiere is unlikely any time soon. The revised Telluride may debut in its domestic market by the end of the year, but the US-spec model is likely to be released at some point in 2023.

2023 Kia Telluride Comes With New Grille, More Equipment

Kia was reluctant to confirm, but it may be the catalyst in the unexpected debut for the Telluride 2023. For starters, don’t call this a facelift. Yes, the Telluride looks different for the 2023 model year. However, as previous leaks suggest, the visual changes are limited to the grille.

There is an update to the Kia logo which is already widely known. However, the highlight here is the slightly redesigned grille. Kia didn’t say specifically how, but we do know it adopts a more mesh design.

The car will be clad in black for the rest of the lineup, though some of the lighter trim touches will stick around except the Nightfall Edition. The bigger news is inside, though it’s still not very significant.

The greenhouse remains unchanged, but you’ll find more standard equipment at lower trim levels. A larger 10.25-inch infotainment screen is present on the Telluride LX and S variants, as is automatic climate control and on-road driving assistance.

All trims will get Kia’s navigation-based smart cruise technology. What has been revealed so far is in line with the leaked information. However, we now have a price estimate as a compliment.

As one might expect, more standard equipment means the price tag will also move up – though not a huge spike. The entry-level Telluride LX starts at $32,790, an increase of $600 from the 2021 model year.

Likewise, Telluride S, which rose 600 US dollars to 35,290 US dollars (Rp506.7 million). The EX and SX only saw an increase of US$200, to US$37,790 (Rp542.4 million) and US$42,690 (Rp612.7 million, respectively).

All prices are for the front-wheel-drive model and do not include a destination fee of US$1,225. We’re likely to find the 2023 Kia Telluride in dealerships later this year.

2023 Kia Telluride Interior, Comfort and Cargo

Despite what people might think of Telluride’s bold outward appearance, the interior is undeniably upscale and comfortable. The build quality is outstanding, the materials are attractive, and the desired features abound.

2023 Kia Telluride

The SX trim completes it all with the most luxurious options that include driver seat memory setup, heads-up display, heated and ventilated rear seats, premium headliner, and Nappa leather upholstery.

Since the 2023 Kia Telluride is a few inches longer than the seven-seater Kia Sorento, the cabin is even more spacious, especially for those in the back seat. There is room for eight with second-row bench seats or room for seven with optional captain’s seats.

Along with ample interior storage throughout the cabin, we managed to fit four carry-on luggage behind the third row and fit a total of 35 carry-on bags with both rear rows folded flat.

2023 Kia Telluride Infotainment and Connectivity

Even 2023 Kia Telluride offers a powerful infotainment system featuring a 10.3-inch touchscreen with popular content that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities along with multiple power points.

With Driver Talk, available on the EX and SX trims, the driver’s voice is amplified through the speakers in the two rear rows for better communication with inattentive or unruly passengers.

2023 Kia Telluride Cargo Room and Interior Room

For interior space, the Telluride 2023 fits perfectly with the Honda Pilot. However, the third-row space feels cramped, which is common in this segment. Want more space? Try the Kia Carnival minivan.

Cargo space (behind the first/second/third row):

  • 2023 Telluride: 87.0/46.0/21.0 cubic feet
  • Pilot 2021: 83.9/46.8/16.5 cubic feet

2023 Kia Telluride Trim Model

The 2023 Kia Telluride is available in four trim levels: LX, S, EX, and SX. Each trim is equipped with a 3.8-liter V6 engine (291 horsepower, 262 lb-ft of torque) paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, although all-wheel drive is optional on all four trims.

The Telluride 2023 is available in the same four trims as last year’s model: LX, S, EX, and SX. With 2023 Kia Telluride offering so much for the money, you’d better go all out and get the SX if you can afford it. On many occasions, it won our hearts and offers amazing packages for a little less than $44,000. If that’s too steep, the leather-clad EX comes with pretty much the same features for under $39,000.

Our top-of-the-line Telluride SX tested speeds of up to 60 mph in 7.1 seconds.

However, the big Kia doesn’t feel as responsive to throttle input at lower speeds as some of its turbocharged rivals do. The 2023 Kia Telluride ride is on the solid side, with the hard pavement sometimes throwing the three-row SUV out of its intended course.

Self-leveling rear air suspension is also available. The brakes are excellent and the steering is precise with a good weight for the feel. The 2023 Kia Telluride offers 8.0 inches of ground clearance for off-road travel and can tow up to 5,000 pounds.

Unlike many of its rival three-row SUVs, the 2023 Kia Telluride is only offered with a V-6 powertrain. The EPA estimates the front-drive version is the least expensive, rated at 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway.

The all-wheel-drive model drops to 19 mpg city and 24 mpg highway, which is slightly higher than V-6-powered competitors like the Volkswagen Atlas and slightly lower than the Honda Pilot.

The all-wheel-drive 2023 Kia Telluride we tested on our 75-mph highway fuel-efficient route delivered 24 mpg true to its government rating. The Atlas also got 24 mpg while the Pilot got 27 mpg during our real-world testing. For more information on Telluride’s fuel economy, visit the EPA website.

2023 Kia Telluride Price
